Friendship Course in Lahti 12th October

Do you want to bring joy to yourself and someone else? If so, join our "Friend Volunteer" course!

This course equips you to act as a volunteer friend to someone experiencing loneliness. You will gain the basics of being a friend, how to meet the person you are supporting, and an overview of the different types of friendship activities available in Lahti.

After the course, you can volunteer as a friend for an hour or two at a time, according to your own schedule. You don't need special qualifications—just a desire to help is enough. Your reward will be a sense of well-being, along with new friends and experiences.

The course will be held on Monday, October 12th, 2026, from 5 to 8 PM at the Finnish Red Cross (SPR) Lahti branch premises: Vapaudenkatu 8 A, 2nd floor, 15110 Lahti.
